Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how and when you can cancel a reservation made through iStay. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Cancelling a booking

You can cancel an eligible booking yourself from your My Bookings dashboard. A booking is eligible while it is in reserved or confirmed status and until 2 hour(s) before the scheduled check-in time.

2. After the cancellation window

Within 2 hour(s) of check-in, online cancellation is closed. If you need to cancel or change a booking during that window, please contact the hotel directly.

3. Expired reservations

A reservation that is not confirmed by the hotel within 2 hour(s) of being made expires automatically, and the room is released. You do not need to do anything; the booking will show as cancelled.

4. Refunds

Because iStay collects no payment online, there is nothing for iStay to refund on cancellation. Any amount you may have paid directly to a hotel is subject to that hotel's own refund practices.

5. No-shows

If you do not arrive for a confirmed booking and have not cancelled it, the hotel may mark it as a no-show. Repeated no-shows may lead to restrictions on your account.
