These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the iStay website and booking service (the "Platform"), operated by [Company Name] ("iStay", "we", "us"). By creating an account or making a reservation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. What iStay does
iStay lets you search for and reserve hotel rooms on an hourly or full-day basis. iStay is a booking facilitator only — the accommodation is provided by the independent hotel you book with. iStay is not the owner or operator of any listed hotel and is not responsible for the condition, safety, or services of the property.
2. No online payment
iStay does not collect any payment online. A booking is a reservation only; the room tariff is payable directly to the hotel at the time of your stay, in accordance with the hotel's accepted payment methods. Prices shown on the Platform are indicative of the hotel's tariff and may be subject to applicable taxes charged by the hotel.
3. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or make a booking.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your password confidential. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
- You agree to provide a valid mobile number and email address so the hotel and iStay can contact you about your booking.
4. Reservations, holds & confirmation
- When you reserve a room it is held in reserved status. If the hotel does not confirm the reservation within 2 hour(s), the hold expires automatically and the room is released.
- A booking reference is generated for each reservation. Please quote it at the hotel reception.
- Availability is shown in real time but is not guaranteed until the hotel confirms. In rare cases a reservation may be declined by the hotel.
5. Check-in requirements & hotel policies
Check-in is subject to the hotel's own policies, including valid government-issued photo identification. Some hotels indicate that they are "couple friendly" or that they accept local IDs; where such tags are shown they are provided by the hotel, and iStay does not guarantee their accuracy. The hotel reserves the right of admission.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel an eligible booking through your dashboard up to 2 hour(s) before check-in. Full details are in our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Platform to make fraudulent, speculative, or false bookings; to interfere with its operation or security; or to use another person's details without authorisation. We may suspend or block accounts that breach these Terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, iStay is not liable for the acts or omissions of any hotel, for any dispute between you and a hotel, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform. The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [City, Karnataka] shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
